Fact Sheets
Readability, readability, readability are the three major elements of a good factsheet. Towards this end, Capital Consulting incorporates the following elements in our factsheet design:
- Clear Language – This means avoiding jargon and using simple vocabulary.
- Navigation and White Space – Having headers and bullet points for sections allows the reader to scan to the key elements of interest for them. Because factsheets tend to convey a lot of information in a small space (one-page), it is important to maintain white space so that the document won’t appear daunting to the reader.
- Pull Out Key Themes – Key data and or content items are pulled out to be eye-catching and helps your reader identify the most important points related to the topics.
- Branding the Series – Factsheets are usually a series of one-pagers on various topics. We ensure that the template design is adaptable and that there is a consistency across factsheets in color scheme, style and format.
