Management Auditing/Process Reengineering

We can provide an assessment of the methods and policies of your organization’s management in the administration and the use of resources, tactical and strategic planning, and employee and organizational improvement. We can establish the current level of effectiveness, suggest improvement, provide guidelines for organizational restructuring, suggest a better use of resources, and identify weaknesses and inefficiencies.

Strategic Planning

A strategic plan outlines where your organization is going, how it’s going to get there and how you will know if you got there. Does it sometimes seem that there is time for everything except the most important things? We can work with clients and program leadership to plan for success. We are specialists in helping confirm and articulate a program’s mission and goals and then making concrete plans to achieve these goals while work on the rest of the workload is still under way.

Grants Management

We facilitate the grants management process from start to finish, including receiving, logging, and tracking applications; pre-scoring them; establishing review committees; setting up and hosting meetings; staffing the committees; recording scores; and helping in the notification process. We can help make program guidance more user-friendly. We are very experienced in providing technical assistance to applicants through videos, Web sites, and conferences.

Evaluation

Many Government agencies receive earmarked funding for evaluation studies. These funds may be used in a variety of ways: for surveys or analyses, case studies or conferences, and even technical assistance to grantees under some circumstances. Our unique understanding of the work can result in quality evaluation projects as well as the evaluation tools needed to evaluate particular programs.

Studies and Analyses

Capital Consulting’s staff perform a variety of studies and analyses in support of Government policy offices. We provide survey methodologies, data collection, literature reviews, performance reports, economic analyses, and statistical analyses for our clients. We can provide experts in all areas of research, including science writers with expertise in such areas as genetics, epidemiology, or immunology; research analysts; statisticians; meeting facilitators; and experts in many other disciplines.

Administrative Support

Our staff members have written manuals on Government travel regulations, provided litigation staff support, conducted management reviews, translated Federal regulations and policies into everyday English for different constituencies, arranged family support services for enlisted U.S. Army personnel, prepared Congressional reports on Government programs, helped move Government personnel to new work locations, and reviewed domestic and overseas programs.
